Mothers Against Drunk Driving - MADD - Okaloosa Walton Florida Chapter  offers support, guidance and information for people in crashes involving impaired drivers and for people whose loved ones were injured or killed by impaired drivers.
 






The mission of MADD is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime, and 
prevent underage drinking.

Nothing can describe the intense pain and heartbreak of learning that a loved one has been injured or killed by a drunken driver. One day, YOU might feel the same anguish inflicted on those left behind.  NO ONE is immune to this tragic crime.

Announcements

  • March 2008: The locations for the Drunk Driving Impact Panels for Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties have been posted.  Click here for the Impact Panels dates and locations.

  • On April 23, 2007, all Law Enforcement Officers that had arrested 100+ Impaired Drivers for DUI were recognized in Tallahassee on the steps at the capital followed by an awards/luncheon hosted by MADD. Okaloosa county was able to recognize James Burnham from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office at this ceremony. Lt Governor of Florida was also there to speak at the luncheon and give his support for MADD and all Law Enforcement Officers.

  • MADD Okaloosa/Walton donated thousands of dollars in equipment to the Fort Walton Beach Police Department, including new in-station video system, hand-held Passive/Active Alcohol Sensors and Portable Breath Testers.
